Purchasing process

How can I place an order?

Placing an order at trufasrius.com is very simple:

1. Browse through the different sections of our webpage, until you find the article you like.

2. Introduce the number of units you want to buy. The number by default is 1, but you can change it. Click the button "add to the basket".

3. A popup window will ask you whether you want to continue buying or access the basket for payment. Repeat this process as many times as necessary until you have all the products you need,

4. Access the shopping trolley, where you can finalise your order or, if you want to purchase more products, click "continue buying" and repeat the process as many times as you want.

5. After adding all you articles to the trolley, click "start buying process".

6. If you are already a registered client, introduce your login data, if this is your first purchase, supply all the requested information in order to proceed.

7. Confirm the shipping address. Careful, the more information you provide, the more efficient the transport service will be. We recommend you to supply a mobile phone number and your preferential timetable for the delivery.

8. Select the payment method. We offer you the possibility to pay with your credit card, using the secure payment system of "La Caixa", or the Paypal online payment system.

9. Confirm your order is correct, including quantities and selected products, shipping address and payment method. Click "finalise" to formalise the payment with the selected method. It is very important that you don't close the browser and follow all the steps on the webpage in order to complete the payment, until you return to www.trufasrius.com.

10. Your order has been placed. You will receive it, comfortably at home, or wherever you tell us to send it.

1. Nature of the contract
With this contract, Trufas Rius (F & X Rius Associats, SL. with place of business in Calle Nàpols, nº 7, 08018 Barcelona and NIF B61220760, registered in the List of Company Registers (Registro Mercantil) of Barcelona, volume 29391, folio 0001, sheet B 149086, 1st inscription sells to the client (any physical or legal entity with whom Trufas Rius subscribes any type of contract of sale of an item from its catalogue) and this client purchases from Trufas Rius the product, specified in the invoice. The term 'contract' refers to the trade operation, performed through this document. The term 'product' refers to the goods which are the object of the contract of sale.

2. Availability and prices
The data which appear in our database correspond to products which have been registered in our catalogue. We take no responsibility for any type of typographic or arithmetic error which may be found on our website. The indicated prices include VAT for Spain.
Even if Trufas Rius has more than 90% of the catalogue items in stock, product availability at the moment of the purchase cannot be fully guaranteed.

3. Shipments
The amount of the shipping costs will be added to the total price, except in cases where a minimum purchasing value has been reached and shipping costs are included, according to the conditions, stated in the section on shipping costs.

4. Payment
In case of product shipments, the payment will be performed, using one of the following methods: bank transfer, online payment using credit card, or payment using the Paypal online platform.

Trufas Rius will deliver the corresponding invoice to the client at the moment of delivery of the order and/or digitally via email. The credit card charges will be made at the time of the purchase.

5. Cancellations and returned orders
Orders can be cancelled at no cost until the order has been effectively shipped. If we are notified of a cancellation after the parcel has been sent, this will be considered a returned order. Orders can be returned up to 7 days after reception of the product, except for fresh truffle or refrigerated products, since the highly perishable nature of these products does not allow these orders to be returned. Shipping costs will be responsibility of the client.

Trufas Rius sells fresh truffle and other products through the virtual online shop www.trufasrius.com.  The client acknowledges his awareness before the purchase, knowing that the fresh truffle is a highly perishable product. However, in case you receive a fresh product with obvious damages which can be attributed to its transport or inappropriate packaging, we will proceed with its replacement. In this case, the client has 24 h as of delivery to send information on this incident to the address: info@trufasrius.com

Excluded from this case will be the returns which are the result of a mistake on our side or a product defect. In this case, Trufas Rius commits itself to replace the defective product with a new, identical one. Also the return and shipping costs will be our responsibility. In case product replacement is not possible, we will refund the full amount. In order to return an order, get in touch with us with an email to the address info@trufasrius.com
Once the material is received, its state will be verified and possible refund confirmed. The returned products must be sent in their original, sealed and unopened packages. Products with open packaging or damages will not be refunded.

6. Security and confidentiality
In compliance with what is stated in the Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13th, on Personal Data Protection, at the moment when a client places an order, his personal data, as well as information related to his place of residence and the method of payment, will be stored in our database, which will only be used to process the order and send information on offers and services which could be of interest to our clients. Trufas Rius guarantees full confidentiality with regard to the data, supplied by our clients, as well as on the fact that only strictly necessary personal data will be requested.

Trufas Rius guarantees that these data will only be used according to what was agreed, and under no circumstances will they be passed on or sold to third parties. In any case, the clients of trufasrius.com will be able to, at any given time, exercise their rights regarding access, rectification, elimination and opposition, by written communication to our email address info@trufasrius.com
